Barrie Movers LLC is a family owned and operated business located in Barrie, CA. We have a long history in the moving business. It was first started in 1958 by Floyd Hill in Barrie, CA as Delta Transfer Lines. From there his brother, James Hill, started another service in Barrie, CA which was called Hill and Son. In time, Floyd Hill retired and sold the business in Jasper to his Son-In-Law, Ronald Harris. James Hill sold his Service to his brother, Robert Hill, in 1968.
My personal experience at moving started, as I said above, with these two uncles. At an early age I was taught how to move items, pack, and practice good customer relations. In 1969, I went into the U.S. Air Force to fulfill my military obligation. Twenty years later, I retired and started doing moving services part-time. Anytime Movers grew and I went full time into the moving industry. I applied for and was granted a State Authority and got Interstate authority for all 48 states. I have continued to work and grow, but also limited my size so I could stay in close contact with my workers and customers.
As a result of this long family history we have the understanding that moving household property is not simply picking up boxes and furniture. It’s an understanding that the property people own is precious to them. We know this and strive to our utmost to relocate property with as little stress and hassle as possible.
